Meet Julia
Photographing love as it’s felt
I’m Julia — a wedding and elopement photographer for people who care deeply about connection, presence, and the feeling behind their memories.
My approach is rooted in observation and intention. I’m not here to over-pose or manufacture moments — I’m here to create space for you to fully be yourselves, while gently guiding when needed.
Your story deserves to be documented with care, grounded energy, and an eye for the moments you didn’t even realize were happening.
I believe the best images come from trust, comfort, and feeling seen. My goal is for you to look back at your photos and not just remember how everything looked, but how it felt to be there.
What you can expect from me
A calming presence on emotionally full days
Guidance when you need it, space when you don’t
A documentary-meets-romantic editing style
Experience working with both large weddings and intimate weddings
Images that feel timeless and treasured
What Sets My Work Apart
I’ve traveled extensively and planned experiences across more than 15 countries, developing an intuitive sense for flow, logistics, and meaningful moments in unfamiliar places. That perspective carries into my work — whether I’m photographing a destination elopement or a wedding close to home. I understand how to create space for presence while keeping things grounded and seamless.
01
Global Perspective & Travel Experience
Before photography, I spent a few years working in event planning and design, overseeing everything from early concepts to execution. That background shows up in the way I approach weddings — anticipating moments before they happen, noticing details others miss, and helping days run smoothly without ever feeling over managed.
02
Event Planning & Design Background
I’m deeply committed to environmental conservation and animal habitat restoration, and I believe the work we choose should reflect the impact we strive to make. 1% of every booking is donated to the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), supporting global wildlife conservation and habitat protection efforts. Choosing to work together means your celebration also contributes to something larger than us.
